'Cheese making in the Suburbs of South Africa' bares simple cheese making recipes using easily-accessible products

JOHANNESBURG, South Africa – Author Nona Ross makes cheese making simple for kitchen enthusiasts everywhere with her newly-released recipe book "Cheese Making in the Suburbs of South Africa" (published by Partridge Africa). This compendium of easy-to-make cheese recipes are made even simpler with ingredients and products that are available from local grocers.

Motivated by the need to survive in the rough economy, Ross has turned her hobby into a money-making venture. Her 16 years of accumulated experience in cheese making are collected and detailed in this new book. The author introduces readers to using pasteurized, homogenized city milk that can be bought from the local grocery store and materials that can be found even in children's toy boxes or a husband's garage.

"I believe that many city and suburban people would love to make cheese at home," says Ross, "but when you read the cheese books that are out there, they are far too complicated. This one is easy."

The author dabs her cheese making procedures with good-natured humor to give readers a laugh while at the chore of doing their own cheesy magic. With her hilarious, easy-to-understand and varied recipe choices, Ross encourages readers to enjoy the craft of cheese making and maybe, start selling and making profit out of it.
